The SRCC neighborhood association is frequently asked to support or make a recommendation on individual requests to be exempt from zoning regulations. Because the issues can be complex, and residents want to be knowledgeable when cases are discussed at SRCC meetings a former member of the Zoning Committee, has written a basic guide to terms, zoning districts, site development, permits and planning.
