The City of Austin continues to restore the reach of Blunn Creek between Woodland Avenue and Monroe Street. As part of the construction project, the trail system will occasionally have detour signs posted to reroute trail users around the construction project. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes while using the trail system.
As of June 11, 2013, trail detour signs will be posted north and south of Monroe Street to redirect all trail users to the trail crossing at street level at the intersection of Monroe Street and East Side Drive. The trail route that goes under Monroe will be closed for approximately six months while the construction project is in this area. For your safety, please do not try to access the trail system below Monroe Drive while the signs are posted and the construction project is in this area.
