CANCELLED – April 16th: Community Input on the Future Development of E. Riverside/Oltorf (EROC) Neighborhood Plan

April 16, 2014 meeting re CodeNEXT Community Character in a Box scheduled for 6:30 pm Wednesday at Ruiz Library is CANCELLED.  According to the City website, there will be additional opportunities to participate later this summer.  Please  notify your neighbors of this cancellation.

The E. Riverside/Oltorf Combined Neighborhood Plan (EROC) CodeNEXT Community Character in a Box exercise will be held on Wednesday, April 16th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Meeting Rm. 2 at Ruiz Library, located at 1600 Grove Blvd.  This exercise is necessary due to the rewrite of the Land Development Code. Please notify your neighbors and ask them to attend if at all possible. It’s important that we provide input to the City regarding what we consider to be EROC’s attributes and also identify what we don’t like about our planning areas and would like to change.  Thanks for your help and we hope to see you there.

Most EROC residents are not familiar with CodeNext or Character in a box. We are going to need to educate residents about how important involvement in the new Land Development Code will be to our neighborhoods.
