The construction of Foundation Communities’ Parker Lane Apartments is close to completion. They will open their new community at the edge of SRCC’s area at 2105 Parker Lane, across the street from Heritage Park. The community will have 135 income-restricted 1, 2, and 3 BR units late this summer, and by year’s end they’ll have a variety of programs–open to anyone–up and running, including a healthy food pantry, fitness programs, special health initiatives, and a free after-school program.
If you–or anyone you know–is interested in an apartment there, Foundations Communities will start accepting applications in the next month or so. Folks can sign up to be alerted when the application period starts here (follow the link under “Parker Lane apartments”).
They’d love to welcome neighbors to get involved in their community through volunteering! If you are interested, they’ll have numerous opportunities to do so at Parker once it is open.
