8. 7:55 Planning and Zoning
Project updates including proposed revisions to the Land Development Code. On October 26, the City Council and Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at City Hall regarding the HOME proposal (Home Options for Middle-income Empowerment). For consideration this fall, Phase 1 allows up to 3 homes on single-family properties. HOME Phase 2 is still in the exploration stage and the City may present recommendations to the public in spring 2024. Phase 2 proposes a reduction in the minimum lot size requirement to promote small starter homes.
