The SRCC/GSRCC Joint Ad-Hoc Committee on CodeNEXT is working on creating a position paper which lays out some concerns about the proposed new code and maps. The paper includes these topics:
-Affordability
-Mobility, transportation, parking
-Inconsistency with neighborhood plans and FLUMs
-Environmental concerns such as watershed/flooding
-Preservation of neighborhood character/demolitions
-Compatibility changes
-Increase of administrative waivers
-Conflicts with Growth Concept Map in Imagine Austin
