Some of the proposed improvements include:
- Replacing bridge crossings at Riverside Dr and Woodland Avenue
- Widening the I-35 bridges over Lady Bird Lake to provide divided travel lanes and widened shoulders
- Add collector-distributor lanes under Riverside Dr to provide to improve intersection traffic flow
- Improve bicycle and pedestrian facility along I-35 frontage roads and Riverside Drive
