Area 1: “Survived another SXSW. Although we are disappointed in some of the decisions of the Music and Entertainment Dept., this year they set up noise/sound monitoring equipment in the most affected part of the neighborhood. We are anxiously waiting the results.” (Diane Presti) The 2015 Austin-American Statements Cap10K is on Sunday, April 12th. It’s not too late to sign up here or check out road closures here. Area 4a: “Travis Heights Elementary is having its 75th Anniversary Celebration on April 11th from 2 pm. to 5 pm.  Join us for free kids activities, tours of the school, and to hear our wonderful “Thunderband” that performs every Friday for out kids at morning assembly.  Please pass the word to current and former students, parents, staff and local community members!” (Mary Janecek-Friedman)

Area 5: The speeding mitigation request for St. Edwards Drive from Carnarvon Lane to I-35 has a high priority score from the Austin Transportation Department which should lead to funding soon. (Garret Nick)
