Area 1:Â “Survived another SXSW. Although we are disappointed in some of the decisions of the Music and Entertainment Dept., this year they set up noise/sound monitoring equipment in the most affected part of the neighborhood. Area 4a: “Travis Heights Elementary is having its 75th Anniversary Celebration on April 11th from 2 pm. to 5 pm. Â Join us for free kids activities, tours of the school, and to hear our wonderful “Thunderband” that performs every Friday for out kids at morning assembly. Area 5: The speeding mitigation request for St. Edwards Drive from Carnarvon Lane to I-35 has a high priority score from the Austin Transportation Department which should lead to funding soon. (Garret Nick)
