Today is the last day for residential signups for Google Fiber installations for addresses in the Lady Bird Lake “fiberhood”. Refer to the map above and at Google Fiber’s website for more details. The Lady Bird Lake area generally includes South Austin addresses east of South Congress, west of I-35 and north of Oltorf St. Fiber installation is scheduled to start immediately, so trucks and crews should be increasingly visible on the street.
If you are in the Ben White fiberhood, you still have until June 4 to sign up for construction. Ben White includes addresses south of Oltorf St. on both sides of I-35. See map below.
