Some of you probably saw the article in the Statesman that was posted on the Yahoo Group regarding Council Member Chris Riley’s proposal for parking on and around South Congress. Â Before the article came out, the proposal was actually brought to the South Congress Working Group which is a group of merchants and neighborhood representatives (including SRCC) created last year specifically to try and address the parking issues along South Congress. Â At this point, SRCC is gathering feedback and comments on the proposal and will be bringing that feedback to the next SCWG meeting for discussion.
If you are interested in providing feedback or ideas, we are having a meeting this Monday evening, 5/28 @ 7:15PM at Grace United Methodist Church. Â This is the same location that we hold our SRCC General meetings so if anyone wants to attend and needs more specific instructions, just email me off list at president@srccatx.org
